The first all-new 2D Mario platformer since Super Mario World has arrived! Just below the surface you will find hundreds of hard-as-nails mini-missions that will force you to reconsider your supposed Super Mario supremacy. The real challenge of the game is tracking down its 240 Star Coins, which allow you to open up paths on the eight world maps. Each level hides three of those shiny collectibles: sometimes they re in plain sight but require a special skill in order to be reached. Other times they re cleverly hidden, and sometimes you will need one of the game s special new power-ups to find them. Nostalgic and new in equal doses, New Super Mario Bros. is, quite simply, a gem of a game.

Great game. - This was the first game I got with my DS and I ve really enjoyed playing it. I m not the best games player but this Mario is amazing! The graphics are lovely and it s just generally a really good, fun game to play. There s plenty of levels and various extra things you can unlock too, which makes it even more fun. I also like the way you only need one game card and then someone else with a DS can go against you, playing wirelessly, on the mini games which are surprisingly addictive. Even my dad who thought the idea of me getting Mario was ridiculous was hooked on the card games for hours!All in all I think it s a brilliant game with hours of fun gameplay and definitely worth getting!

A great game - We bought this before going on a trip to NZ in February to keep our children amused. They love it and are still happily playing it 6 months later.

Mario Is Back!!! - I ve loved the Super Mario Bros. games ever since I owned Super Mario and Six Golden Coins on my Gameboy Pocket, so I was really excited about buying this game once I bought my Nintendo DS. It really is fantastic! The graphics and gameplay are excellent, though the only downpoint which I ve found so far is that there aren t many places to save, so if you run out of lives before you reach certain points, there could be a lot of gaming time going to waste. I m still working my way through the game and I m looking forward to completing it but it is certainly a case of so far, so very, very good!

AWESOME - Ive only recently got a DS lite as a gift and this was the first game i had with it and it is fantastic. I wouldn t call my self a hardcore gamer by any means, i can complete original mario on the super nintendo with my eyes shut from playing when i was younger but this is a whole new level. Im addicted. the graphics are brilliant, the gameplay as good as i remember (if not better) and the mini games are incredibly addictive. when im bored of wasting lives in the main game the mini games are perfect. and the share function is a hell of a good way to waste a week or so! if i had to find a negative point i would say i would like it to use more functions of the ds such as the touch screen and mic but all in all.. i highly recommend.

brilliant all round (age 11) - it is really fun.I definitely recommend this to all ages.it has quick multi for two -4 playersmario and luigi go to lots of different backgrounds and terrains.Classic mario game all the usualls plus more.Very well made.Boy Age 11
